Lou Reed has revealed that he's in trouble with Metallica fans over his recent collaboration with the metal group Lulu, which has been subject to appalling reviews in the music press.
"Metallica fans are threatening to shoot me, and that's only because I showed up. They haven't even heard the record yet, and they're recommending torture and death."
Metallica will perform some cuts from Lulu on the November 8 edition of Later...With Jools Holland. Listen with caution.
