She exploded onto the scene with her debut album 'Pure Heroine', so the heat is on for Lorde to keep the momentum going with its follow-up.
It seems like the young Kiwi pop star is not bowing to the pressure, though: she told a reporter from MTV at the Golden Globes on Sunday that she's written 'amazing stuff' for her next album. If she says so herself, that is.
"For me I have to kind of write a project lyrically before I attack it musically," she said. "So I've written a lot of amazing stuff and I'm just tentatively starting to make it music."
Lorde was at the movie/TV bash because she'd curated the soundtrack for the latest Hunger Games film and was nominated for Best Original Song in a Movie for 'Yellow Flicker Beat' - although she didn't win.
As for when we might expect the follow-up to Pure Heroine, she said that she had 'no timeline' and that she 'didn't really care'. Teenagers, eh?
