The New Zealand singer, who shared shots at the gig via her Instagram story, said "I’m proud of the work I do. And it’s flattering when other artists feel inspired by it, to the extent that they choose to try it on themselves. But don’t steal—not from women or anyone else—not in 2018 or ever." Lorde used a rectangular see-through box as part of her 'Melodrama' tour.

You can see the similarities of the stage designs below.

Variety reached out to ask a representative of West's to see if Kids See Ghosts had rented her rectangular box. The rep said "he believed West had the set built."

However Es Devlin, who works as a stage designer, has taken to her Instagram page to put the feud to rest. Devlin shared three images of 'CARMEN' by Georges Bizet at the English National Opera in 2007.

She has said "the idea of a floating glass box of course is not in any way new and the geometry precedes all of us. [...] I worked with Lorde on the design for her Coachella performance: I admire both and see no imitation at work here"

In other Kanye West news, he's delayed his upcoming new album 'Yandhi' again. Due to be released on November 26th, West has said it "isn't ready yet." Who knows, he might be gearing up to run for president before it drops.
