The festival returns to Marlay Park for the first time since 2019
This weekend is set to be a big one for gigs across Dublin and indeed, Ireland - but one of the biggest events in the summer festival calendar also rolls into town.
Longitude will make its return to Dublin's Marlay Park this Friday, July 1st to Sunday July 3rd 2022.
Here's everything you need to know about it.
CAN I STILL BUY TICKETS?
Yes - at time of writing, both day tickets (€99.50 plus fees) 2-day tickets (€179.50 plus fees) and 3-day tickets (€239.50 plus fees) were available. Longitude is a non-camping festival. If you're collecting tickets on site, there is a box office at the Grange Road and College Road entrances.
WHO'S PLAYING?
This year sees acts including Megan Thee Stallion, A$AP Rocky, Dave, Tyler the Creator, The Kid Laroi and more playing. Dave will headline on Friday, Tyler, the Creator on Saturday and Megan Thee Stallion makes her Irish debut with a headline set on Sunday.
WHERE IS IT ON?
It's on in Marlay Park, which is in the south country Dublin suburb of Rathfarnham.
WHAT TIME DO GATES OPEN?
Gates open at 1.30pm each day.
HOW DO I GET THERE?
Marlay Park is served by public transport but you should note that LUAS, Dublin Bus, and Go Ahead will only be operating their normal scheduled services and will not be running additional services for these concerts.
The nearest Luas stop is in Dundrum, and Marlay Park is about a 30 minute walk from there.
Marathon Coaches will operate buses both from Custom House Quay in the city centre and shuttles from Dundrum Luas stop - you're advised to pre-book these tickets as bus tickets for gigs at Marlay Park earlier this week sold out.
Travel Master are operating services from many towns and cities around Ireland, as are various other national coach services - see here for more info.
The recommended drop off and collection point is at Our Lady’s School car park on Ballinteer Avenue. Attendees getting picked up by family and friends following the event are advised that road closures are in place on the roads surrounding Marlay Park.
IS THERE CAR PARKING?
There is limited parking available in Marlay Park. Car Parks will open 1 hour prior to the gate's opening time on your ticket.
