Linkin Park have finally released a statement relating to Chester Bennington's death.
The band cancelled their remaining tour dates last week after their frontman was found dead in his home on Thursday.
They set up a tribute page for the 41-year-old vocalist allowing fans to share their memories, but now have released an open letter/statement on social media.
"You touched so many lives, maybe even more than you realized," it read. "In the past few days, we've seen an outpouring of love and support, both public and private, from around the world. Talinda and the family appreciate it, and want the world to know that you were the best husband, son, and father; the family will never be whole without you."
Meanwhile, police in Palos Verdes Estates near Los Angeles released audio footage of the 911 call to AP, which revealed that Bennington was found by his housekeeper.
