Linkin Park's Chester Bennington came in for a lot of criticism over the past week about his comments relating to the band's new album and their critics.
Bennington told Kerrang! magazine: "If you’re gonna be the person who says like ‘they made a marketing decision to make this kind of record to make money’ you can f*cking meet me outside and I will punch you in your f*cking mouth because that is the wrong f*cking answer. You’re a f*cking p*ssy."
Slipknot's Corey Taylor took umbrage with the comments, saying that Bennington should be 'grateful for what he has', and the Linkin Park man took to Twitter to admit that he had made an error of judgement.
"I do appreciate our fans," he tweeted. "I'm human and sometimes take things too personally. Most of our fans have been very positive lately. Some... not so much."

Just heard Corey Taylor's response to something I said in an interview and I agree with him. I do appreciate our fans.
