An Oasis reunion? There was a period of time that it seemed like a distant dream for fans, but at least one of the Gallagher brothers has come out and publicly said that he is up for it.
Liam Gallagher, who has been at a loose end since Beady Eye split up in 2014 and has spent much of the time calling his brother a 'potato' on Twitter, made the comments in an interview with Q magazine. He said: "I believe Oasis will sail again and it'll be glorious. If it's really about the fans, Noel, let's do it - because they want it. One year. Tour for a year. We'd smash it. My bags are still packed from my last tour, so I'm ready."
In the same interview, it seemed like his issues with Noel were far from resolved. "Do you think I want to be in a band with that ****? He says, 'Liam has to change.' Get to f**k....If the guy doesn't want me back in our band then I don't want to either," he said. "I don't want to be in a band with someone who doesn't want me. Every f**king soundcheck he'd stand in the middle and sing. The geezer's got small-man syndrome."
He went on to lambast Noel for his celebrity friends, including Bono. "Whatever next? Robbie Williams turning up on his next record? Noel lives in a £17 million house. That changes you," he said. "You have appropriate furniture, appropriate kitchens, appropriate red wine Bono's recommended. And Damon Albarn becomes your mate."
That aside, with new Oasis documentary 'Supersonic' hitting cinemas in October, what better time is there to announce a reunion tour? Get on it, lads... for the money fans.
