"I don't hold grudges and we've wasted enough time"

Like many, we've been gunning for an Oasis reunion at various intervals over the years.

And while it'd undoubtedly be nice to see the band back together playing all the hits, one thing we'd definitely miss would be the Gallagher brothers' humorous public pot-shots at each other.

Liam is currently on tour for the 30th anniversary of 'Definitely Maybe', which arrives in Dublin this weekend, as well as dates in Limerick and Belfast in July and August.

And according to the younger Gallagher, the door to a reunion remains open - no matter how many times his older brother shuts it down.

In recent days, a picture of a chair with the sign 'Reserved for Noel Gallagher' was posted on Twitter, with the person who posted it claiming that it was taken in the hospitality box at one of Liam's shows.

While it's since emerged that the picture was in fact from a Jesus and Mary Chain gig in 2014, someone else put the prospect of Liam saving his brother a seat at his solo gigs, to which he replied: "Yes you never know."

He has since doubled-down on his latest olive branch, responding to a fan who asked what he'd do if he met Noel, saying "I don’t hold grudges and we’ve wasted enough time we shake hands and we move on IMMEDIATELY."

Liam plays Dublin's 3Arena this Sunday June 23rd and Monday June 24th, as well as Limerick's Thomond Park on July 14th and Belfast's Boucher Road on August 16th.
