Liam Gallagher last night sang Oasis material for the first time since the band's split in 2009. Gallagher added 'Rock N' Roll Star' and 'Morning Glory' to the Beady Eye setlist for their warm-up gig for the support slot with The Stone Roses at Manchester's Heaton Park this Saturday. Noel hasn't been shy to sprinkle Oasis material into his gigs - probably because he wrote the songs - but this is the first time Liam has used material written by his older brother since Oasis imploded three years ago.

Liam Gallagher recently stated that an Oasis reunion in 2015 isn't out of the question, while Noel told an assembly of reporters on Tuesday that "[an Oasis reunion] would be great for everyone except me."

Beady Eye will be joined at Saturday's Stone Roses show by The Wailers, Professor Green and Hollie Cook.
