He also shared further thoughts on an Oasis reunion, saying "it's time to get off the naughty step"
Everyone knows that the Gallagher brothers have had a tempestuous relationship over the years, but now Liam Gallagher has shared a story that might go some way to explaining Noel's animosity.
The former Oasis frontman was recently a guest on Peter Crouch's BBC show 'Save Our Summer' when he shared a story about almost setting his brother's house in Ibiza on fire.
Liam said that he had been given a lend of the home - before Oasis's acrimonious split, of course - and within the first ten minutes of arriving, he had started a fire.
"Our kid had a house there once, years ago, which I nearly set fire to because they lent it to me," he revealed. “I get there and I’m getting a bit giddy and I’ve got the drinks out, I’ve got a cig out, and it’s right on the sea. I flicked it and it’s gone down the cliff and there’s loads of fire. We’d not even unpacked our bags. I’d only been there about 10 minutes.”
In the same interview, he also revealed that he knew well that Noel would not participate in his planned Oasis reunion for the NHS next year.
"I know he’s not going to do it, so I do it to make him look f****** as bad," he said. "Do you know what I mean? I’ll do it, I’ll do it.”
"I just want to keep making good music, singing those Oasis songs, and waiting for the little fella to come with a box of chocolates and apologise.”
