Beady Eye are over, an Oasis reunion isn't forthcoming anytime soon - so where does that leave Liam Gallagher?
After revealing last week that he was up for an Oasis reunion but his brother Noel was not, the younger Gallagher brother is taking matters into his own hands and is rumoured to be working with Snow Patrol guitarist Johnny McDaid (aka Mr. Courteney Cox) on new material. McDaid has worked with Ed Sheeran and Harry Styles in the past.
He tweeted that 'new sounds were on the way' last week:
Listen up no oasis reunion Rkids not into it I am hes to busy being beige new sounds on there way stay cool and most of all relevant LG x

According to The Sun, Gallagher is also said to have been working with American power-pop genius Brendan Benson, who has gotten into production and songwriting for other artists over the last few years.
As many have pointed out, Gallagher's latest collaboration comes as something of a surprise, considering he named Snow Patrol 'Snore Patrol' in 2012.

Looks like he's over it, if rumours are to be believed.
