He has been very quiet on Twitter since their win
They may have little in common these days, but one thing that will always unite Liam and Noel Gallagher is their love of Manchester City Football Club.
The brothers have been lifelong Man City fans and have often been spotted at matches over the years.
And despite Liam's recent needling of his elder brother over his recent divisive cover of Joy Division's 'Love Will Tear Us Apart', it seems the thing that might finally bring them back together is a love of the footie club.
Having recently won both the Premier League and the FA Cup, Man City completed the treble over the weekend when they beat Inter Milan to win the Champions League.
Liam had previously tweeted (although it's not known when the tweet in question dates from) that "If Man City wins the Champions League i call my brother and i bring back the fuckin band together LG x".
Now that his wish has come true, fans have urged him to keep his promise and pick up the phone.
Meanwhile, Noel - who watched the match in a pub in San Diego - was asked his thoughts via videolink on a reunion by Jamie Carragher, and replied cryptically: "This is the end of the beginning. This is only the start."
Liam, meanwhile, has been uncharacteristically quiet on Twitter since Friday - perhaps preparing for a big announcement?!
In any case, watch this space...
