Liam Gallagher named best frontman of all time by XFM

In what can only be described as a highly dubious poll conducted by radio station XFM, Liam Gallagher has been voted the greatest frontman of all time, beating Freddie Mercury into second place.

The ever humble Gallagher responded to the news by saying: " Greatest frontman? I knew that anyway! There's not many of us about. There are a lot of pretenders out there. But I'd like to thank everybody for voting and stuff. Nice one."
