The Scottish folk-pop musician refuses to take himself too seriously
Whether you love or hate his music, you can't deny that Lewis Capaldi is a breath of fresh air on the music scene right now.
The young Scottish folk-pop singer is thoroughly enjoying his time in the spotlight. More importantly, he isn't taking it or himself too seriously. The title of his recently-released debut album, 'Divinely Uninspired to a Hellish Extent' is just one example of his tongue-in-cheek attitude. At the same time, you could argue that his music doesn't match his p*ss-taking social media persona.
In any case, having scored a Number 1 with it in the UK (and also in Ireland, FYI), he received an award - as all acts who score a number one do - from the Official Charts Company.
Let's just say his acceptance speech was in keeping with the nature of his other social media videos.
