Following speculation about their future, The Rascals have revealed that they will disband, following the departure of frontman Miles Kane.
Kane spent the best part of last year working with the Arctic Monkeys' Alex Turner as The Last Shadow Puppets, and now intends to pursue a solo career.
A spokesperson for the Liverpudlian group told NME.com "Miles Kane is currently writing new material and has been in the studio recording some tracks by himself. Greg Mighall and Joe Edwards are working on a film project with 'Awaydays' star Liam Boyle."
