Lady Gaga has underlined her status as the reigning queen of pop by bagging four gongs at last night's MTV Europe Music Awards in Belfast. The New Yorker picked up the prizes for best song, best video, best female and biggest fans at the ceremony in the Odyssey Arena.
Elsewhere, Justin Bieber, Bruno Mars and 30 Seconds To Mars picked up two awards each. The best live act award will sit upon Katy Perry and Russell Brand's mantelpiece, while Eminem won best hip-hop and Linkin Park were awarded the distinction of being the best rock act. Queen's Brian May and Roger Taylor were in attendance to pick up the global icon award.
