The Killers' drummer Ronnie Vannucci told Billboard.com that the Las Vegas rockers have some interested projects on the way, including a live DVD and possible a covers album.

He said of the DVD "We've been kind of hounded about it for a while, and haven't really thought we were due for it yet, but I think it's time. I think we're approaching the moment of DVD mass hysteria."

Vannucci also admitted that the band have had discussions about making a covers album, an idea which has long been rumoured. Though nothing is final as yet, The Killers have already recorded cover of Bright Eyes' "Four Winds", Murray Head's "One Night In Bangkok" and even one of Cindi Lauper's songs.

"It's going to be one of those things that will be more fun for us than anybody else. I think it's still a while off but things move kind of fast with us and get cooking, so it could just be when we have a collection of songs for the press, we'll put it out there."

The Killers are currently touring their "Day & Age" album, and will  play at Oxegen this July.
