Mt Desolation, the supergroup concocted by Keane's frontman Tim Rice-Oxley and live bassist Jesse Quin, have announced their debut Irish show head of the release of their eponymous album, which is due for release in October.

As well as the Keane boys, the album features performances from The Killers' drummer Ronnie Vannucci, Noah And The Whale violinist Tom Hobden, Mumford and Sons banjo player Winston Marshall.

Mt Desolation will play Whelan's on Friday September 10th. Tickets priced €15 go on sale this Friday July 23rd at 9am.
