Kanye West revealed he got a little help from his friends when making new album 'Yeezus'. West confirmed that Daft Punk, Bon Iver's Justin Vernon and Rick Rubin have all contributed to the rappers latest album.

West debuted his new album at a listening party last night which was attended by Beyonce, Jay Z, Timbaland, Busta Rhymes as well as members of the media and record industry executives. The eagerly awaited album which is called 'Yeezus', for reasons Kanye explained last night, 'I want to explain something about the album title. Simply put, 'West' was my slave name and 'Yeezus' is my God name.'

Daft Punk worked with Kanye on track 'Black Skinhead' but at the party West confirmed this was not the only track the French duo had helped him out on. They also worked together on tracks 'On Site' and 'I am God'. Guest appearances on the album also include Chief Keef, Kid Cudi and Justin Vernon of Bon Iver also gets in on the act. The soon to be dad also revealed that Rick Rubin had been called in to help finish the album. West told guests 'Everything I've been doing, from the 'New Slaves' video to the album with no artwork, I've been thinking, 'What would Rick Rubin do?'.

With all those big names behind the album we are expecting good things from it. 'Yeezus' is due for release on the 17th June.
