Good Times ahead for the family-friendly event
The line-up for family-friendly festival Kaleidoscope is shaping up very nicely indeed, with the addition of several big-name acts today.
The perennially-crowd-pleasing Nile Rodgers & Chic will headline the Sunday night of the 2023 edition of Kaleidoscope, which takes place in the grounds of Russborough House, in Blessington, Co. Wicklow from June 30th - July 2nd.
They'll be joined by the Fun Lovin' Criminals (Sunday), B*Witched (Friday), Newton Faulkner (Saturday) and the Dublin Gospel Choir (Sunday), with many more acts to be announced.
Gavin James had been previously announced for the festival as Saturday's headliner.
And there's more besides the music, as the festival blurb puts it:
"Kaleidoscope offers family moments and memories at every turn, whether that’s boogying in your buggy at the main stage, jumping for joy on the world’s biggest bouncy castle, transporting yourself to a land of pure imagination at story time, or close encounters with creepy-crawlies. Admission to the festival offers families free participation in a number of workshops, sports and wellness activities, from dancing at the Céilí Mór in the Trad Tent to whizzing and whirring science demos with Mark the Science Guy!"
Early bird tickets are sold out, but a limited amount of discounted Tier 2 General Weekend Tickets* are currently still on sale. General Discount Family & Friends Tickets (two adults and two children or one adult and three children) can be purchased for €251.25, while additional adult and child options are available on Ticketmaster.
