Justin Timberlake has dreams to make it as a country music star. The popstar, who played in Nashville on Friday, has revealed he hopes to record a country music album at some point in his career.
In an interview with Sirius XM, Timberlake admitted his hopes to record some country music was 'still alive'. And he already has made a little step in that direction with his latest album The 20/20 Experience - 2 of 2 which featured a country inspired track 'Drink You Away'.
Speaking about his hopes of country music stardom, JT said, 'I just did an interview earlier today and I said 'I'm America, that's what I am - in all sense of the worId. I grew up outside of Memphis, Tennessee, and I listened to country music, R&B music, classic rock... everything'.
It looks like we could see JT take his career down a different path yet as he sets his sights on Nashville, 'I think there could be a place for me here in the future for sure,' he said. 'Absolutely I will work in Nashville. That's probably the next move for me. The next move for me is to sink some teeth in here.'
