The cop who arrested him reportedly didn't know who he was
As you may know, Justin Timberlake fell foul of the law in recent days after he was arrested in the US for DWI (driving while intoxicated).
The pop star and actor, whose most recent album 'Everything I Thought It Was' was released in March, was arrested in New York after "failing to maintain his lane of travel and pause at a stop sign."
It has since come to light - although unconfirmed by police - that the officer who arrested the 43-year-old was apparently 'too young' to recognise who Timberlake was - a fact in itself that has spawned a host of memes.
According to reports, Timberlake "said under his breath, ‘This is going to ruin the tour',". When the police officer replied "What tour?", the singer said, "The world tour."
Timberlake's 'Forget Tomorrow' tour is currently on a US leg before hitting Europe over the summer and returning to North America in the autumn.
