And his people were like baby, baby, baby NO. Justin Bieber is most definitely not quitting music. 100 per cent not, according to his management.
The COO (yes, COO) of Scooter Braun Projects, Scott Manson, told The Wall Street Journal that the teenage star would definitely not be throwing in the towel, while the company's GM Allison Kaye had this to say: "Justin is a hard working 19-year-old who would prefer that his recent fundraising work in the Philippines and the considerable amount raised for the cause be the media’s focus more than the recent reporting on him retiring."
Of course, if Biebs would prefer the 'meeja' to focus on his good deeds then perhaps he should refrain from tweeting such things himself? Oh wait. His 'peeps' have a pre-prepared schpeel for that too: "Regarding his recent tweeting about his 'retirement' Justin felt that this was the best way to respond to the latest in a long line of inaccurate or wildly exaggerated media reports about him. He chose to channel his frustration into playing along with this baseless rumor and even used 'beloved' to tip off his core fans that it wasn't real."
"The media talks a lot about me" Biebs tweeted not long after. "They make a up a lot of lies and want me to fail but I'm never leaving you, being a belieber is a lifestyle... Be kind loving to each other, forgive each other as god forgave us through Christ Merry Christmas IM HERE FOREVER"
Ya hear that kids? Don't stop 'Beliebing'.
And sure why not check out his new film, Believe, while you're at it. Isn't it amazing that its release just so happens to coincide with this latest fracas?
