The 'Lucid Dreams' star died yesterday after suffering a seizure
The hip-hop community is in mourning this morning after the untimely death of young rapper Juice WRLD was announced last night.
The 'Lucid Dreams' star, whose real name was Jarad Anthony Higgins, had only just celebrated his 21st birthday last week.
He collapsed and suffered a seizure after disembarking a flight at Chicago's Midway International Airport yesterday, and was rushed to hospital where he was pronounced dead. According to a police report, he was conscious and bleeding from the mouth when paramedics arrived on the scene. The cause of the seizure is not yet known, although Higgins had been open about his history of drug abuse in the past.
Some fans have also been pointing out lyrics from his song 'Legends', which eerily seemed to foretell his death: "What's the 27 Club? / We ain't making it past 21".
His fellow rappers have been leading the Juice WRLD tributes, including the likes of Drake, Chance the Rapper and Meek Mill. Ellie Goulding, who collaborated with him on the track 'Hate Me', also shared her thoughts.

I can’t believe it... you were such a sweet soul. I’ll always remember meeting you and your family on the video set and thinking how close you were. You had so much further to go, you were just getting started. You’ll be missed Juice 💔
