The Trump-supporting former Sex Pistols frontman overshared in a new interview
For many people, John Lydon aka Sex Pistols and Public Image Ltd. frontman Johnny Rotten is something of a fallen hero - largely due to the (former?) punk's support for Donald Trump in recent years.
On that note, many of the same people will be gleefully rubbing their hands and muttering something that sounds like 'karma' after hearing this story.
Lydon, who clearly has no filter when it comes to either personal or political matters, revealed in an interview with the New Zealand Herald that he caught fleas after making friends with a group of squirrels near his house in California.
"I looked down there this morning at my willy and there’s a fucking flea bite on it," he said. "And there’s another one on the inside of my leg. The bites, wow, last night was murder because of it. The itching too. It’s such a poxy thing to get caught out on. The only way around it, because I’m not going to blame the poor little squirrels, is to vaseline my legs. I just hope they don’t get the wrong idea.”
He added: "I’m determined to keep my squirrel friends independent, y'know. There’s no petting. If they want to nudge up that’s fine, but I know it’s for a peanut and not because I’m lovely."
