You have to feel for Johnny Marr.

Moreso than perhaps even Morrissey, he is constantly being asked about the possibility of a Smiths reunion and no matter how often he denies it, the rumour continues to linger in the background.

Yesterday, Marr posted a picture of himself in front of a Smiths poster of actress Candy Darling, captioned 'Candy says 'back with news very soon'.

Of course, this sent the rumour mill into overdrive, with many speculating that an announcement must be imminent - but Marr had other ideas.
