One of the most prolific songwriters in music has died at the age of 73
The death of composer and songwriter Jim Steinman was announced on Tuesday.
Since then, tributes from both fans and his fellow songwriters and musicians have been pouring in.
Steinman was best known for writing Meat Loaf's 1977 'Bat Out of Hell' album, which went on to become one of the best-selling records of all time. However, he worked with a huge range of artists and genres over the course of his long career, and was also responsible for composing songs like Bonnie Tyler's 'Total Eclipse of the Heart', Celine Dion's 'It's All Coming Back to Me Now' and even Boyzone's 'No Matter What'.
His career spanned from the late 1960s to the 2010s before his death from kidney failure on April 19th at the age of 73.
