Before he died last month,Chester Bennington filmed an episode of Carpool Karaoke with Linkin Park for the TV spin-off of the segment on James Corden's show.
However, Corden has now said that the public won't get a chance to see it - unless it has the blessing of Bennington's family first.
He told AP: "We will approach it in whichever manner his family or the people that were involved in that episode, however they would like it to be handled. We consider it not our decision to make.
"We will navigate it as delicately as possible and just adhere to whatever wishes they would want because I don't think there's any other way we could deal with it… It's a tragedy."
The musician's widow Talinda Bennington took to Twitter to thank Corden for respecting their wishes, although not giving any indication on whether they would allow it to be shown.
Thank you @JKCorden https://t.co/VmXOKgNN89
