Michael Jackson's Thriller has been named the "Greatest Album Ever" in a poll by MTV viewers. That's not surprising, the 1982 classic spawned some of the greatest songs of our generation, including 'Billie Jean', 'Beat It' and 'The Girl Is Mine,' and has passed the test of time with flying colours.

What is surprising is that the runner up position goes to noneother than London's sleazy soulster Craig David. Now, can we really trust any kind of a poll where Craig David comes ahead of Nirvana, Radiohead, The Smiths, Rage, R.E.M. and The Pixies? I think not. The list suggests MTV viewers are a smidge on the young side, with relative newcomers Amy Winehouse and Arctic Monkeys making the top 10. But seriously lads, Usher? USHER??!!!
