Odds are, some of you had bought tickets and were madly excited about travelling to London to see the King of Pop before his untimely death. If you are a ticketholder, it may interest you to know that concert promoters AEG have now announced details of how you can get your refund.
Authorised ticket sellers, including ticketmaster, Viagogo and Ticketline, will be delivering full refunds from tomorrow morning, July 1st. More information is available on MichaelJacksonLive.com.
Clearly aiming to save a few bob, AEG are also suggesting that ticketholders keep their tickets as souvenirs. In fairness, the tickets are more special that your average, having been specially designed by Jackson himself and given a holographic or 3d effect through lenticular printing.
Those who purchased second hand tickets off eBay or similar sites are urged to contact their seller directly, while PayPal customers are covered by the company's insurance if they claim their refund within 45 days.
Meanwhile, a criminal investigation has been launched into Jackson's death, after his autopsy failed to reveal the cause of death. Jackson's personal physician Conrad Murray is not under suspicion, although rumours have been circulating that he may have given Jackson a fatal dose of painkillers.
According to the Sun, at the time of his death, Jackson had deteriorated to a severly emaciated 8st 5oz, was almost entirely bald and had scars from at least 13 cosmetic surgeries.
Record shops all over the world are selling out of Jackson's albums, as his airplay shot up by 1735% over the weekend, and three albums, 'Number Ones', 'The Essential Michael Jackson' and 'Thriller' dominate the Billboard charts.
