The U2 musicians played two songs on Friday night's show

If you happened to watch 'The Late Late Show' on Friday night, you'll be aware that it was a pretty star-studded affair, all told.

With no big charity busk happening on Grafton Street this Christmas Eve, many of the stars who'd normally show up on the Dublin street to raise a few quid instead made it out to RTE.

They included Glen Hansard, Shane MacGowan, Hozier, Imelda May and many more - who all helped to raise a huge amount for the Simon Community.

And U2 stars Bono and The Edge also made an appearance, too - performing a cover of Darlene Love's “Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)” with help from Vyvienne Long, Hansard, Phillip Powell, Danny O'Reilly and the Heyday Choir.

They also played an acoustic version of 'Walk On' from their 2000 album 'All That You Can't Leave Behind'.
