Hozier performed the Simon & Garfunkel classic in an empty Croke Park for Comic Relief.
While RTÉ's 'Comic Relief' gave us the likes of Dustin returning to TV to slag everyone, a 'Fleabag' / 'Normal People' crossover, and Saoirse Ronan hanging out with 'Derry Girls', there was also this.
Hozier, who also took part in a sketch with Aisling Bea, performed Simon & Garfunkel's 1970 hit, 'Bridge Over Troubled Water' as part of Comic Relief. The performance took place in an empty Croke Park with a socially-distanced orchestra surrounding the singer-songwriter, all of it filmed at dusk in the nation's capital.
It's pretty stirring stuff, even if you're not usually taken by Hozier's music or ability.
Take a look.
