Just days after announcing their programme, the Dublin Bowie Festival has hit a snag as one of their main events has been cancelled.
Unfortunately due to 'scheduling issues', the gig by Holy Holy - the band featuring Bowie collaborators Tony Visconti and Woody Woodmansey - at Vicar Street that was planned for Thursday, January 4th has been cancelled.
Refunds are available from point of purchase.
However, to mark what would have been Bowie's 71st birthday, the Bowie Birthday Bash will be held in The Grand Social on Monday Jan 8th at 8pm featuring The London Boys and some very special guests. Admission will be free for all Holy Holy ticket holders (RSVP info@dublinbowiefestival.ie for free list) or €7 on www.eventbrite.ie.
