Irish Guns N' Roses fans, rejoice - Axl Rose and co. have confirmed that they will play Slane Castle next May.
After posters began appearing around Dublin last week with the band's logo and the word 'Patience', there was speculation that the reformed rockers were Ireland-bound.
The gig was confirmed with a press conference at Bruxelles pub in Dublin this morning. They'll bring their 'Not in This Lifetime' tour to Slane Castle on May 27th, 2017, which will be the first gig on the European leg of the tour.
Lord Henry Mountcharles said: "We are really thrilled to have one of the most excitIng rock n' roll bands in the world coming back to Slane 25 years after they first played, the same month in 1992 which was critically considered to be one of the best Slane’s ever."
Tickets are from €89.50 not including booking fee, and on sale this Friday, December 9th from usual outlets at 9am.
