It has been confirmed that Dave Grohl is the drummer for Michael Jackson's first posthumous release, 'Michael' which is set to hit the shelves on Monday December 13th. Rappers 50 Cent and Akon will also appear in some capacity, reports NME. Grohl plays drums on a track called '(I Can't Make It) Another Day', on which Lenny Kravitz will take up guitar duties. The album will feature tracks from various recording sessions Jackson took part in before his death in June 2009, while final track 'Much Too Soon' was an outtake from the Thriller recording sessions. It will be interesting to see what course Jackson's posthumous career takes and just how many other recording of his will surface and whether his estate will release as many albums after his death as Tupac, who seems to put a new collection out every few months.
