The Heineken Green Synergy festival kicks off in Dublin next Wednesday, but it's not just about music - there'll also be several music-related screenings each evening at Anseo on Camden Street (upstairs), from 7pm.

Thursday November 13th - Studio One Story

One and a half years in the making, Studio One Story is a definitive guide to Jamaica's greatest ever record label and its founder Clement Dodd. Filmed in Kingston, the documentary has interviews with many of the artists who Studio One made famous.

Friday November 14th - Wilco: I am Trying to Break Your Heart

In the autumn of 2000, Wilco entered the studio to record their highly anticipated fourth album. Building on three critically acclaimed albums and a reputation for phenomenal live shows, the band seemed poised to cement their reputation as one of the great American rock groups. So how is it that one year later, with completed record in hand, they found themselves rejected by their corporate record label and missing two of their original members? First-time filmmaker and award-winning photographer Sam Jones was on-hand, chronicling this turbulent chapter in Wilco's history as it unfolded.

Saturday November 15th - Brasileirinho

Brasileirinho is a documentary about Choro, the first genuinely Brazilian urban music. It was back in the late 19th century in Rio de Janeiro when Brazilian musicians started to blend European melodies, Afro-Brazilian rhythms and the melancholic interpretation of the Brazilian Indians' music to create Choro. The film remembers the history but shows, above all, a colourful picture of Choro's vitality today.

Sunday November 16th - Moog

MOOG, the new documentary about Robert Moog, inventor of the modern synthesiser, is a portrait of the legendary figure in music and technology and his ideas about creativity, design, interactivity, spirituality and his collaborations with musicians over the years.
