A pretty great night overall
The 2020 Grammys took place last night and Billie Eilish was a big winner of the night, taking home 5 gongs.
When accepting the award for Song of the Year for 'Bad Guy', Billie said: “So many other songs deserve this, I’m sorry. This is my first Grammys. I never ever thought this would happen in my whole life.”
When she won for Album of the year for 'When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?', her brother/producer Finneas added: "“We didn’t make this album to win a Grammy.
"We didn’t think it would win anything ever. We wrote an album about depression and suicidal thoughts and climate change and being the bad guy, whatever that means."
Lizzo was another big winner of the night. She won best pop solo performance ('Truth Hurts'), best urban contemporary album ('Cuz I Love You') and best traditional R'N'B performance ('Jerome').
Her acceptance speech for the first award of the night was touching and motivational. Speaking to the room, she said: "You guys create beautiful music, you guys create connectivity. And, as I'm speaking to all of y'all in this room, we need to continue to reach out.
"This is the beginning of making music that moves people again, making music that feels good, that liberates people."
She also performed 'Cuz I Love You' and 'Truth Hurst' at the awards last night.
Other highlights of the night included an emotional performance from Demi Lovato. It was the first time the artist had taken to the stage since being rushed to hospital for a suspected overdose in 2018.
Grammys Award history was made last night by BTS as they became the first K-pop group to play at the Grammys. They shared the stage with Lil Nas X for a performance of his award-winning hit 'Old Town Road'.
Viewers also enjoyed the Jonas Brothers' performance. But not for the reason you'd expect. Rather, they got a kick out of the fact that Nick Jonas had spinach stuck in his teeth for the two numbers.
Is it me, or did someone not tell Nick Jonas he had something stuck in his tooth? #grammys

Alicia Keys was host of the night and a big hit. The audience were loving her cover of Lewis Capaldi's 'Someone You Loved', which parodied the year in music and the Grammys itself.
Keys also had the task of dedicating the awards ceremony to Kobe Bryant, who died tragically in a helicopter crash alongside his daughter this weekend.
She said: "Here we are together on music's biggest night, celebrating our artists that do it best, but, to be honest with you were all feeling crazy sadness right now, because earlier today Los Angeles, America and the whole wide world lost a hero.
"And we're literally standing here, heartbroken, in the house that Kobe Bryant built.
"Right now, Kobe and his family and all of those that have been tragically lost today are in our spirits, in our hearts, in our prayers, they're in this building."
Keys was joined by Boyz II Men to sing an a capella version of "It's So Hard to Say Goodbye to Yesterday" at the Staples Center.
