Having sold out their first date in no time at all, The Eagles have only gone and sorted a second Dublin show to appease the masses and they'll now play on the 6th of June in addition to the previously announced date of 4th June - their first Irish shows since 2009.
Glenn Frey, Don Henley, Joe Walsh, and Timothy B. Schmit will perform classics spanning their career, including some that have never been performed live, as well as songs featured in History of the Eagles, the band’s acclaimed, top-selling documentary. History of the Eagles made its European premiere during the second Sundance London film and music festival on April 25, 2013 at The O2 in London.
The Eagles have sold more than 120 million albums worldwide, earning five #1 U.S. singles and six GRAMMY Awards. Their Greatest Hits 1971-1975 is one of the best-selling albums of all time, exceeding sales of 29 million units. The band’s Hotel California and Their Greatest Hits Volume 2 have sold more than 16 and 11 million albums respectively.
The Eagles were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1998 and, based on record sales alone, it's hard to dispute that accolade.
