Glasvegas had a very unceremonious end to their V Festival set on Saturday night when the Glasgow rockers were bottled off stage by a less than impressed crowd. According to various reports, the band last only four songs into their set before calling it quits, even after attempting to pacify one angry bottle-thrower in particular. After attempting to restart their set the band thought better of it and walked off permanently.
Glasvegas' management released the following statement after the show: "It's an honour for Glasvegas to play in front of any crowd. They performed at Pukkelpop before the storm blew in and we were reminded firsthand how important safety of a crowd and band are. The kids that come along to the festivals are passionate about their music - they've saved and sacrificed for months to pay for tickets and want to have an amazing weekend."
