After the massive success of their recent 20th anniversary reunion tour, it seems The Commitments are not ready to hang up their hats just yet. The soul band made famous by the film adaptation of Roddy Doyle's novel of the same name will return to play two concerts at Dublin's Olympia Theatre on November 9th and 10th. The line up will once again feature original cast members Andrew Strong, Robert Arkins, Angeline Ball, Bronagh Gallagher, Michael Ahern, Glen Hansard, Felim Gormley, Dave Finnegan, Kenneth McCluskey and Dick Massey. Tickets priced €50-€55 go on sale this Friday May 6th at 9am.

Joan Armatrading has announced a show at Dublin's Vicar St for September 22nd 2012. It's a long way off yet but tickets are already on sale priced at €37.

Adam Young, AKA Owl City, is coming to Ireland as part of his world tour. He will play an over 14s show at The Academy, Dublin, on September 5th. Tickets priced €21.50 go on sale this Friday May 6th at 9am.

Inner City Northside trio The Original Rudeboys will play their first Dublin headline show at the Academy 2 on Saturday June 18th. Tickets priced €12.50 go on sale this Friday May 6th at 9am.
