Like The Flaming Lips? Like Mushrooms? Then you'll love Know Your Mushrooms, a new documentary feature from Grass man Ron Mann and aptly featuring music from the Oklahoma psychedelic rockers themselves.
According to the film's website, it will "opens the doors to perception, takes the audience on a longer, stranger trip and delivers them to a brave new world where the fungi might well guide humanity to a saner, safer place... with extra cheese..." and stars Larry Evans, commonly referred to as "the Indiana Jones of Mushrooms."
As well as The Wizard Turns On... from At War with the Mystics and What Is the Light? from The Soft Bulletin, Know Your Mushrooms also features a new track entitled "Anything You Say Now I Believe You." The film is currently on the festival circuit in the U.S. but heaven knows if it will make it to our wee island. You might have to keep an eye on Amazon for the DVD...
