The DJ, real name Norman Cook, has played some of the most prestigious venues in Europe - even playing to 250,000 people at the beach in his native Brighton - but now he's added another notch to his CV: a gig at the House of Commons.

Cook played a warm-up set in the House of Commons Terrace Bar to Bryce Moore, also known as Bryce Fury, who was the winner of a national DJ competition.

"I've played some exciting and unique places around the world, from Bondi Beach to the Great Wall in China, to an igloo, but playing in the house of commons might be the most unique to date", Cook said before the gig.

Bryce Moore, from Newcastle, was put forth by the Last Night a DJ Saved My Life Foundation, an initiative aimed at getting 16-25 year olds more involved in their communities on a grassroots level. Each of the competitions ten finalists must devote at least four hours to some sort of local project in their community.
