Elton John has had a special ice-cream flavour created in his honour by Ben & Jerry's.

The singer follows in the footsteps of the likes of Jerry Garcia and Dave Matthews Band by having the ice-cream, dubbed 'Goodbye Yellow Brickle Road', created.

All proceeds from the ice-cream, which was invented to commemorate John's first concert in Vermont (next week), the home state of Ben & Jerry's, will go to the Elton John Aids Foundation.

It's said to be "an outrageous symphony of decadent chocolate ice cream, peanut butter cookie dough, butter brickle and white chocolate chunks", and will only be available in B&J's shops until July 25th.
