Plenty of musicians denounced Trump's use of their music during his campaign, but how many of them would change their tune now that he's been elected?
Well, probably very few, actually - which means that his inauguration in January might not be anywhere near as musically star-studded as Barack Obama's, who had Beyoncé sing at his.
One man who definitely won't be performing for Trump is Elton John, who has been forced to explicitly deny that he would be playing at the January event.
The rumour started after Trump aide Anthony Scaramucci said on BBC (below) that the gay singer would be playing at the event, having previously mentioned Trump's apparent championing of gay rights.
"This will be the first American president in U.S. history that enters the White House with a pro-gay rights stance,” he said. “Elton John is going to be doing a concert on the Mall for the inauguration.”
However, a rep for John said "This is incorrect. Elton will not be performing at Trump’s inauguration."
Who to believe? Considering the singer previously described the president-elect as a 'barbarian', we'll go with that...
