'Arrivals' is out next February and was produced by The Modfather
Paul Weller has been a fan of Irish musician Declan O'Rourke for quite a while now.
In the past, he has even covered the Galway-based songwriter's track 'Galileo' - so it was only a matter of time before the pair ended up working together.
In fact, The Modfather has produced O'Rourke's new album 'Arrivals', which is out in February and was recorded over six days earlier this year. "He was there every moment, before, during and long after, discussing ideas about this and that, even down to the artwork. It was hugely impressive," he said.
'Arrivals' is said to be a stripped-back collection of songs that highlights O'Rourke's voice and guitar-playing, although Weller plays some instruments, including piano on the closing track.
