The rather odd trio of Dave Grohl, Jack Black and Val Kilmer have formed a new spoof rock act called Sweetriver and the Huckleberry Dogs, as part of a Yahoo web series called Ghost Ghirls which you can throw your eyes over here.
The newest episode sees the trio play spectres haunting a recording studio which the Ghost Ghirls then investigate. Of course, the band get back together for one last performance of their song 'Back To The Beginning'.
The song features on the Ghost Ghirls EP, which you can get on iTunes.
Black and Grohl are frequent collaborators, with the latter being an occasional member of Black's Tenacious D. Grohl also played the Devil in the infamous Tenacious D music video 'Tribute'.
