Dan Deacon will bring his brand of crazy back to Dublin once more when he plays The Button Factory on August 5th. For seven years now, Deacon has been travelling the globe playing anywhere from large stages at music festivals, to street sides and alleyways and even the Getty and the Smithsonian. Deacon's music is a behemoth. At once uplifting and danceable, it is more of a celebration than an out-and-out party. He's also fond of the odd party game. When he played Andrew's Lane Theatre in 2009, Deacon engaged the crowd in massive conga line which danced out of the venue and towards Temple Bar. Support on the night comes from the excellent Patrick Kelleher.
