Damon Albarn is bringing a party to Vicar Street on 1st November. Honest Jon's is the label owned by the Blur front-man which is renowned for releasing interesting music, from post-war black music in Britain, to afrobeat, to modern soul. 2008 was the first ever Honest Jon's Chop Up, a riotous party featuring music from global artists who have all appeared on the label - and now it's coming to Dublin. This latest helping will feature Albarn himself, as well as Tony Allen, RHCP bassist Flea, Fatoumata Diawara and more.
Tickets go on sale on Friday 19th August and are priced at €42.50.
