The star-studded lineup for this weekend's Grammy Awards just got a bit more, er, star-studded. With the likes of Daft Punk, Pharrell Williams and Nile Rodgers (any guesses what they'll be performing?) already confirmed to be a part of the show, they've only gone and added Jay Z and Beyonce to the bill too.
It's unclear as of yet whether or not Mr & Mrs Z perform together but if we were the betting type we'd be fairly confident in laying down a few shekels on it happening, especially since Jay Z guested on his wife's recent single 'Drunk In Love'.
Beyonce isn't up for any awards herself but Jay Z has wracked up a pretty remarkable nine nominations for his Magna Carta Holy Grail album of last year despite it (in John's opinion) not being very good at all, particularly when compared to Jay's buddy Kanye West's remarkable Yeezus.
Other performers confirmed for the event include Metallica, Katy Perry, Lorde, Robin Thicke, Chicago, Kendrick Lamar and Imagine Dragons. Also confirmed for the event are Sir Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr. The legendary Beatles bass player and drummer - the only surviving members of the 60s group - are both listed as performers and many fans have speculated they could reunite on stage for the first time since 2010.
The 56th annual Grammy Awards will be hosted by LL Cool J (it's nice to see he can still find work, isn't it?) and broadcast live into the wee hours from the Staples Centre in Los Angeles.
