'Everyday Life' is the rock band's eighth studio album
You wait years for a new Coldplay album, and then two come along at once. Well, kinda.
Chris Martin and co.'s last album was 2015's 'A Head Full of Dreams', which was enormously successful and spawned a hugely successful global stadium tour.
Now, the English band are returning with their eighth studio album 'Everyday Life', which is a double album that will be released on November 22nd. The first half will be called 'Sunrise', and the second 'Sunset'.
They revealed the news in a letter to fans that joked "for the last 100 years or thereabouts we have been working on a thing called Everyday Life. In the classifieds you might write ‘double album for sale, one very careful owner.’ It is sort of how we feel about things."
Not much else is known about the album as yet - i.e. collaborators - but watch this space.
There have also been numerous billboards subtly advertising the album in various cities around the world. They've popped up in Berlin, Sao Paolo and Hong Kong...
